The NSU Trauma Resolution & Integration Program (TRIP) provides specialized psychological services to individuals age 18 and above who have been exposed to a traumatic situation and are currently experiencing problems in functioning as a result of the traumatic experience.
The Trauma Resolution & Integration Program (TRIP) at Nova Southeastern University has been an active partner with MaleSurvivor. We fill the function of responding to questions submitted to the MaleSurvivor website.
TRIP provides services to traumatized individuals by doctoral psychology trainees extensively schooled in treating traumatization across diverse gender identifications and sexual orientations, including, of course, cis and non-cisgender males. We provide individual therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) groups, couples therapy where needed, and a trauma-informed, peer-based group for sexual and gender minority clients, and a men's group that specifically addresses toxic masculinity.
An important feature of TRIP is that fees for services are based on household income so that our services are accessible regardless of financial status.
