Biography

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in the state of Minnesota. I practice from a systemic perspective believing that our relationships in life, both present and past, influence how we live our lives. I have worked with a wide variety of clients - men, women, couples, adolescents, and families - all dealing with a wide variety of issues. Some of the issues I have experience working with are depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, spiritual issues, self-esteem, empowerment, sexual addiction, sexual perpetration, sexual victimization, incest, sibling abuse, 12-step programs, anger management as well as others.

Other Information
I have trained with Pia Mellody from The Meadows Treatment Center on the Post-Induction Therapy model. This model of therapy has proven very effective in helping clients move through their difficult past experiences toward a more relational and healthy life. I am also train in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which helps to decrease reactivity to negative messages and helps with trauma.
