Biography

Stephen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Sex Therapist. He has a private practice in Monterey, CA specializing in Sexual Abuse issues. He also specializes in gender issues. He runs men\'s groups for adult male survivors of sexual abuse at the Monterey Rape Crisis Center. He also conduct couples groups for survivors at the Salinas Women\'s Crisis Center. Stephen co-led the first MaleSurvivor West Coast Retreat in 1998 at the Mount Madonna Retreat Center. Hs is a member of the California Coalition on Sex Offending and frequently writes for S.E.S.A.M.E., The Healing Woman and Treating Abuse Today. We do require an initial therapy session before starting group. We always try to work with issues of money. Our therapy group is very reasonably priced at $30.00 for a two-hour therapy group.
