Biography The Rape Crisis Center of Central New Mexico (RCCCNM) provides emotional support and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and abuse throughout Central New Mexico, and serves as a community resource on issues regarding prevention and awareness of sexual assault and abuse.

Crisis Intervention Services receives approximately 2,000 calls to the hotline and provides accompaniment for close to 600 people at area hospitals.
The Counseling department provides therapy to, on average, 275 new clients as well as ongoing clients and group therapy participants.
The Community Education & Outreach department contacts, on average, 13,000 community members.

Other Information We serve the community with a wide range of programs and services.
Crisis Intervention Services provides 24-hour support, advocacy, crisis intervention, resources, referrals to anyone affected by sexual violence as well as accompaniment to area hospitals. Crisis Services responds to approximately 2000 calls to the hotline per year and 600 hospital exams per year. Staff also provide court support, legal information, and other advocacy services for survivors.
Counseling is available free of charge to anyone affected by sexual violence who is over the age of 13. The Counseling department employs full-time counselors who are all specially trained in the field of sexual assault and trauma.
Community Education & Outreach provides age-appropriate curriculums to educational institutions and professionals. Staff serve as a connector between the agency and an average of 13,000 community members every year. Community Educators conduct educational workshops and presentations in a variety of settings including, but not limited to, community centers, schools, businesses, and other agencies.
