Biography Caring, compassionate and authentic. After having traveled the difficult journey from pain and despair to hope and healing, Pam has a passion for coming alongside individuals who are hurting and in need of hope - walking with them toward healing, forgiveness and restoration. Pam is trained in the use of EMDR for the reprocessing and resolution of traumatic memories and prefers to use a holistic approach to counseling wherein emotional, physical, spiritual and relational problems; trauma responses; identity crises; maladaptive coping skills or clinical pathology are addressed as a means of finding wholeness and hope. Along with traditional therapeutic modalities, she believes that the therapeutic process is greatly enhanced by the use of creative interventions. These include art, music, writing, play, nature, and, according to the needs and desires of the client, spiritual formation/direction in accordance with a Christian worldview.
