I am a dedicated, perceptive and highly competent clinician with 27 years postgraduate experience. Certified in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis and also hold state, national and international credentials in addictions treatment. My areas of specialization include: addictive disorders [alcohol/drugs, sexual compulsivity, eating disorders, gambling, compulsive spending]; sexual abuse/trauma; personality disorders; LGBT concerns; HIV/AIDS and other chronic medical illnesses; grief/bereavement; depression; and sexual issues. I am equally experienced in working with men and women and treat an adult clientele of diverse racial/ethnic backgrounds as well as all gender/sexual identifications. I work in a Relational Psychoanalytic style and view the therapeutic journey as something we co-create together.
