Megan MacCutcheon, M.Ed. graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and received her Masters of Education from the Counseling and Development Program at George Mason University, where she was a member of Chi Sigma Iota, Counseling Academic & Professional Honors Society International. Currently, Megan is a psychotherapist in private practice in Vienna, VA where she works with children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, trauma, and sexual abuse. Megan also works as a therapist and Domestic Violence Systems Advocate at The Women’s Center, a counseling center in Vienna, VA whose mission is to improve significantly the psychological, career, financial, and legal wellbeing of women and families. Megan also teaches educational workshops, including Building Self-Esteem and Understanding Family Abuse. Previously, Megan worked as a Child Psychiatric Specialist at Childrenâ€™s National Medical Center on both the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Units.
