I am a graduate of Pepperdine University specializing in clinical psychology, I am currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are chronic illness, compulsive/addictive behaviors, relationship issues, trauma, and sexual orientation issues. In addition, I have presented at national conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of working with difficult trainees, the psychological impact of corporal punishment, treating survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and ethical treatment of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals, youth and families. As a psychologist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and help you find ways to be your best self. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can use them to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By working collaboratively, we will work to adjust behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
