I started my work with serviors in 1990 when I was working in patient at Portland Adventest Medical Center in Portland Oregon. I worked as a group therapist with mostly women. I was challenged to do my disertation for my doctorate degree on Group Therapy for male survivors. My dissertation was titled "A Theoretical Group Psychotherapy Model for Treatment of Men Sexually Abused as Children". After being invited to present it at the National Group Therapy Convention I became increasingly involved in helping men recover from the after affects of childhood sexual abuse. Currently I see both men and women individually and as need presents itself (8-10 men are available for a group) I do group therapy. I completed my masters degree work at Boston University (MTS in Pastoral Counseling; Ed.M. in Counseling Psychology). I graduated with my doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. I specialize in helping people recover from personality disorders as well as deal with depression, anxiety, identity development, intimacy issues, other basic mental health issues as well as marital counseling.
