Kirsti Mouncey, LISW-S, LCDCIII is a licensed independent social work supervisor and a chemical dependency counselor. She earned her masters degree in social work at Cleveland State University and her bachelor degree in social work in Jena, Germany. Kirsti is the Vice President of Client & Clinical Services at the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center and in this role supervises all services provided to clients and their families/supports who have been affected by sexual violence such as therapy, justice system and 24-hour advocacy. Kirsti has been a part of the anti-violence movement for over ten years and her clinical expertise lies in the areas of trauma and addiction. She also has experience in working with clients affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and various forms of addictions, homelessness and domestic violence. Kirsti further uses her expertise by lecturing on trauma issues through the Professional Training Institute of Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, and as a board member of the Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence.
