Bio: Jonathan C. Stillerman, PhD, CGP is a licensed clinical psychologist and Certified Group Psychotherapist with 20 years of experience practicing psychotherapy with adults, couples, and groups. He received his doctorate from The George Washington University where he conducted his dissertation research on male survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Dr. Stillerman specializes in the psychology of men and masculinity and has worked extensively with both male and female survivors of sexual assault, their partners and their families. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Stillerman co-founded of Men Can Stop Rape, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering male youth to prevent sexual assault and other forms of gender-based violence. He has spoken nationally and internationally about sexuality, interpersonal violence, and safe equitable relationships and provides trainings on male survivors to other clinicians and hotline counselors.
