Biography
Experiences of Pain, Fear, and Abuse lead to a break from our personal experience of the soul, resulting in a deep sense of loss and isolation from self and others. The long term psychological effects of childhood abuse - whether sexual, physical or emotional (verbal) - can affect yourself image, self-confidence, contribute to your ability to have intimate relationships because you feel ashamed, bad, unlovable. In the case of sexual abuse you feel dirty. My role as a therapist is to work collaboratively with my clients to remove obstacles that block the connection to a deeper experience of the soul and authentic self, and then move towards the realization of a fulfilling and purposeful life.
