Biography
Curtis received his bachelors in English and Psychology from UNM and his masters in Counseling from Webster University. He has over 10 years of extensive experience working with children, teens, and families. He specializes in working with children, teens, and adults with trauma issues/PTSD, Substance Abuse, Severe Mental Illness, and LGBT issues. His therapeutic approach is gestalt therapy and trauma-informed treatment with an emphasis on holistic health and healing. Curtis is a trained Mindfulness facilitator, and has designed group therapy curriculums for individuals with Grief and Loss issues, Survivors of Emotional Manipulation, as well as an intensive workshop for adult survivors of childhood trauma.
