Dr Ralph Wahl Battinieri has provided interventions to sexually abused children since 1971. His private practice offers individual psychotherapy to victims and / or aggressors of childhood sexual abuse. He holds a masters degree in social work from Temple University and his doctorate studies (University of Pennsylvania) are in human sexuality education, clinical practive and research. In 1985, Dr Wahl Battinieri established legal precendent as the first professional to qualify as an expert witness in field of child sexual abuse in Pennsylvania. He has subsequently testified as an expert witness in juvenile, civil and criminal courts and conducts interdisciplianary seminars / trainings for professionals providing direct interventions and treatment to child sexual abuse victims/victimizers. Dr Wahl Battinieri maintains a private practice consisting of male victims of sexual abuse and has recently focused much of his professional attention to victims of clergy abuse.
