Craig qualified with a BSocSc (Psychology and Philosophy) in 2006 from the University of Cape Town (UCT), and a BAHons (Psychology) (cum laude) in 2007 from Stellenbosch University (SU). He obtained an MPhil (Criminal Justice) in 2009 from UCT, and an MA (Clinical Psychology and Community Counselling) in 2010 from SU. Craig trained in a broad range of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic therapy, person-centred therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, emotion focused therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
