WE DON’T ALWAYS GET TO CHOOSE OUR BATTLES. Phil Saviano, a survivor of institutional child abuse at the hands of a priest, did not ask for the fight he devoted his life to. Phil passed away on November 28, 2021 after a long illness. While we mourn his passing, we celebrate the powerful legacy he left of breaking the silence and being heard for others.
