MaleSurvivor is a non-profit organization committed to preventing, healing, and eliminating all forms of sexual victimization of boys and men through support, treatment, research, education, advocacy, and activism. Formed in 1995, MaleSurvivor has an international membership of about 15,000 registered members from over 200 countries in the world. The online MaleSurvivor Support Forum comprises over a half-million messages in 81,000 threads by registered members.
Webinar topics will include: Posting as a registered member, responding to other’s posts, creating a topic, self-care and self-monitoring, advantages of registering vs use-as-guest, searching 101 tips, communicating with others (ie in a topic or private message), role of moderators, guidelines/etiquette.
Panelists (board members, forum and chat contributors) will share examples, information and advice and respond to attendee questions.
