RoB Brown speaks about his childhood and the path he found to healing.

Todd Holt and Theo Fleury

"Theo and I speak to men all over and we tell them: YOU, like us, are not alone; the effects are far-reaching & sometimes feel never ending, but there IS a place & time for healing. It is NOW. I stand here today, a Victor over sexual abuse & I along with Theo, offer you our voice.

This sentence today is nothing short of a national travesty because we know that childhood sexual abuse has reached epidemic proportions in our country. Graham James once again perpetrated his crime and spread his sickness right through the courts of Canada. He conned the judge with his "poor me" and "I regret" statements. His lawyer defended the indefensible, and he's been rewarded for doing so and Graham James is laughing all the way back to the life he's always led knowing that justice for him is but a blip on the radar..."

In November of 2010, Oprah Winfrey aired two ground breaking episodes of her talk show where over 200 men and their partners came forward to speak up and tell the world that they were abused. MaleSurvivor's own Dr. Howard Fradkin joins Oprah herself and Tyler Perry to give expert insight and advice on the plight of survivors and shatters many of the myths that we have to fight in order to get help.

These powerful shows have been nominated for Emmy Awards and continue to resonate with all who watch them.

Documentaries

Jamie, Survivor of Toronto Canada

My name is Jamie, a 41-year old man living in Toronto, Canada, who has survived childhood sexual abuse. I decided to reach out to other male survivors through the Men Healing podcast. Many of us who have survived sexual abuse often feel isolated and alone in our struggle, and many of us are physically isolated by geography as well. My hope is that any man who has been living with the effects that this childhood trauma brings about, could find some hope, inspiration, help, and encouragement through my podcast. Fortunately, today's technology will allow this message of hope to reach places where neither resources nor support are available.

Please join me for an amazing, meaningful journey of healing and spread the word that we are here to help and give confidence that healing is absolutely possible.
