This group is specifically for people living with HIV who are survivors. The groups are gender specific so they are all-male groups. |
Description:
TPAN, an HIV/AIDS organization (www.tpan.com) offers a closed, 15 session intervention group that was developed at Duke University, called Living In The Face of Trauma. TPAN plans to offer at least 5-6 of these groups per year. They are professionally facilitated, but most of the therapists are survivors. |
Other Information:
There will be an ongoing
support group for graduates of Living In the Face of Trauma
Groups. Hopefully this will seed groups and interest for survivors regardless of HIV status. |
